What is it?
The fifth edition of the FOKUS Media Web Symposium is about the “Web of the Future for the Creative Industry – Technologies, Tools and Standards“. It takes place over two days in Berlin. The first day provides three tutorials on HbbTV, Multiscreen and the Web of Things as well as workshops related to these areas. The conference on Day 2, which we will be attending, starts with a keynote delivered by the CTO of ProSiebenSat. 1 Media AG. This is followed by sessions on
- SmartTV, Interactive, On-Demand, Multi-Screen, UHD – Mission accomplished?
- DASH Delivered Media – Latest MPEG Developments, Live Service Delivery, Ad Insertion and Content Protection
- Understanding Media – Big Data, Semantics, Context, Recommendation, Social
Why are we there?
We are working on topics covered by this event, such as Connected TV, SmartTV, Multiscreen, Big Data, Semantics, Recommendations and Social. At the event we will be catching up with innovation managers from broadcasting and R&D who we have worked with in recent projects. It is a great opportunity for discussions about innovation in these areas and to explore new avenues.
