Meet Us @ Re:Publica TEN & Media Convention

When: 2 - 4 May 2016 Where: "The Station", Luckenwalder Str. 4--6, 10963 Berlin, Germany What is it? re:publica is (by its own accord) one of the world's most important events concerning the topic of the "digital society". It started out in 2007 as a small blogger's conference and has now become a meet-up for over 7000 digital natives, storytellers, researchers, developers, activists and journalists.

The topics covered throughout the three day event range from digital politics and technological innovations to music and culture plus everything else concerning the digital society. In its tenth year, the conference will again cover all of these topics, adding a special focus on virtual reality. The event will take place in collaboration with the Media Convention Berlin, a congress for the international media industry.

Why are we there?

We are at re:publia because it's a great event for meeting new faces and old acquaintances. It is also a great place to learn about and discuss the current state of the media, in particular in regards to how it influences or is influenced by society. Furthermore the Media Convention offers a great platform for engaging with other Media professionals.

If you want to know more about the event, have a look at the website and scroll through the program here. It's really worth having a look, especially because all sessions are being recorded and made available online afterwards. You can also follow along on twitter. Check #rp16 as the general hashtag.

If you want to meet us in person, you can do so by contacting us directly via Twitter @dw_innovation or individually. Our colleagues Nico Heise, Kay Macquarrie and Tilman Wagner will be present in Berlin and can be found all over the place.
