What is it?
The organisers label News Xchange as “the news industry’s most provocative and most insightful experience.” It brings together news executives, journalists, presenters, bloggers and start-up entrepreneurs from around the world with experts from other fields such as scientists, artists and thought leaders. A main aim of the two-day event is to share and discuss ideas and the status quo of the news industry. Furthermore, trends and developments are shared in order to shape and prepare for the future of the news business.
The full programme of the conference can be found here.
Why are we there?
We are participating in News Xchange to:
- find out more about the state-of-play in the news business;
- showcase our platform for collaborative verification Truly.Media;
- discuss potential cooperation opportunities in the context of our research activities (especially relating to current and future projects);
- do a lot of networking.
