Meet Us @ Summa User Day And Language Technology Hands-on Days in Bonn

Interested in AI-driven human language technology (HLT) and looking for a chance to test the latest state-of-the-art tools? Come visit us in Bonn in week #47!

We’re hosting three days of talks, live demos, and workshops focusing on automated content analysis, meta data generation, summarization, translation, subtiling, voice-overs, and related topics.

November 20th is dedicated to EU H2020 project SUMMA (which is about building a multilingual media monitoring platform for enterprise use) and HLT concepts and use cases in general. SUMMA user day will have more of a conference character and include an industry experts panel. It’s also the official release day of SUMMA as an open source tool.

November 21st and 22nd will feature both SUMMA and DNI project news.bridge (which aims to make audiovisual content available in virtually any language). These two days will have more of a barcamp character, with several hands-on sessions for smaller groups.

There is a chance to join a tour of the DW building on November 20th.
