Let's have a chat in Bonn.

When: 13 - 15 June 2016 Where: World Conference Center, Bonn, Germany What is it? For the 9th time in a row Deutsche Welle is hosting the Global Media Forum in Bonn, Germany, its annual international media conference. With the lead slogan "Media. Freedom. Values" Germany's international broadcaster offers a platform to discuss the role of media in civic and political society. For three days over 2.000 people from around the globe are welcomed to discuss a variety of current issues addressing media trends, foreign policy and their impact on helping overcome the challenges of global development.

Why are we there?

Innovation lives through constantly creating new ideas. It is our strong believe that this process works a lot better, by exchanging ideas, by talking to each other and by discussing different solutions in order to find the best possible one. So for the Global Media Forum we prepared a variety of sessions, addressing recent trends in innovation and media, building on our current work. We invite you to stop by the Innovation Lounge, listen to our ideas, discuss them with us and share your knowledge about these topics with others. To create an all inspiring atmosphere, we have "invited" a circle of inspiring people to shine on us with their wisdom.
