Meet Us @ IBC 2015

When: 11 - 12 September 2015 Where: Amsterdam RAI–IBC Exhibition Halls and IBC Future Zone (Hall 8) What is it? The IBC Exhibition takes place from 11 - 15 September 2015 in Amsterdam with the IBC Conference running from 10–14 September. IBC is a key platform to meet with companies and people active in the international electronic media and entertainment industry.

IBC covers technologies, recent major changes and business models concerning all forms of electronic media content for consumption in a world "where content is everywhere". Topics include OTT delivery, mobile TV and Cloud production, but also the economics of Ultra HD, digital cinema innovation and the rise of social television. This year, the 14 exhibition halls follow three themes: creation, management and delivery. Additional Feature Areas complement the exhibition. One of them is the IBC Future Zone, addressing future technology and research.

Why are we there?

We are working on topics covered by IBC 2015, such as Connected TV, Smart TV, Multiscreen, Big Data, Semantics, Recommendations and Social. The IBC Future Zone shows future-facing projects and prototypes from leading R&D labs and universities. DW Innovation is a partner in the SAM Project, which will be exhibiting in the Future Zone. SAM develops a Social Media delivery platform based on 2nd Screen and Content Syndication. Other exhibitors in the Future Zone include, for example, BBC Research & Development, Jaunt VR, NHK, NTT Network Innovation Labs, The Walt Disney Company and Al Jazeera Media Network.
