Why are we there?

DW Innovation is involved in a range of development activities focused on tools that make content creation processes smarter, easier and more efficient. For example, DW is a partner in the News-Stream project, which develops big data tools for journalists.

At the Smart Content Summit Birgit Gray will be giving a presentation on "Smart Tools for Smart Content Creation". She will be discussing how tools, based on big data technologies, are required to help content creators better navigate through the increasingly complex information universe as they monitor, filter and process information from multiple sources, all in real time. Birgit will share her insights into smart tools for journalists and media companies and highlight case study examples related to the News-Stream project, including first demonstrators for new big data tools. These tools can assist in the creative process and enable more flexible delivery decisions.
