AI & Automation, Best Practice

Meet us @ MTHCON 2026

When? September 29-30.

Where? Potsdam, Germany (Studio Babelsberg).

What is it? The annual Mediatech Hub Conference (MTHCON) is all about what shapes "the media industry of tomorrow", and thus showcases global tech trends, best practices in film, TV and streaming.

Why are we there? The GenKI4Media project plays a big part on both conference days, occupying slots on the Horizon Stage, in the AI Garden, hosting a workshop, and ready to talk to you about our work at our booth. The ReCos representing the project are: Axel Primavesi, Nico Heise, and Olivia Stracke (who also speaks on stage).

Day 1

You can find us on the Horizon Stage on September 29 from 14:30 to 17:50 p.m. The host will be renowned DW-journalist, news anchor, and international correspondent Javier Arguedas.

Day 2

Moving on to September 30. We'll be part of the event's AI Garden and host a separate workshop.

AI Garden, Sep 30

Title: How to easily and affordably create 3D Spaces as a Non-expert

In this 45-minute hands-on session, led by ART+COM developer Arturo Castro, you will learn all about how their 3D generation engine allows creating 3D spaces and objects from simple inputs, such as text, photos, videos or speech.

Workshop, Sep 30

Title: Bringing scattered Information together in one Place – How Knowledge Graphs can support Media Production

Knowledge graphs are a technology for the semantic integration of distributed, fragmented information at various levels, offering new possibilities for future media production. In this 90-minute workshop, Dr. Thomas Hoppe (Fraunhofer Fokus) and Tim Deussen (Studio Deussen) dive deeper into the topic.

Find us at our booth on both days

The GenKI4Media roll-up should be easy to spot. Gathered around little bistro tables, we can discuss all things "AI and media". Different team members of the project will take turns "guarding" the booth and presenting their work. So, come find us!
